Pride Employee Business Network

Employee Business Networks (EBNs) are a core part of McDonald’s culture and business. They help embed our DEI culture of care and bring our values to life to improve the employee experience by providing year-round professional development, social events, networking, volunteer opportunities and more.

The Pride EBN (formerly known as McDonald’s Gay, Lesbian & Allies Network) was founded in 2005 and strives to build awareness, equity, inclusion and opportunities for employees and customers from the LGBTQ+ community.

Our active and always growing network is steadfast in our work to evolve McDonald's welcoming and inclusive culture and remains a driving force in advancing our LGBTQ+ causes and policies.

Troy (He/Him)

Sr. Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Starting my McDonald’s career 20+ years ago in Australia, I have been afforded incredible opportunities to relocate multiple times, gain unique experiences and learn from leaders across the globe. Being a part of the Pride EBN has also enriched other areas of my life, both personally and professionally. I have learned that you can flourish as a person when you are in the right environment and have genuine support and encouragement behind you to bring your whole self to work each and every day.

I am incredibly proud to work for McDonald’s where our company’s values are not just words on a page—our leaders take action and want to see all our employees thrive.

Ambour (She/Her)

Manager, Sourcing

While at McDonald’s, I’ve had the opportunity to make so many wonderful connections with people from different professional and personal backgrounds. I feel so fortunate to work at a company that celebrates authenticity and diversity and encourages me to be visible and active in EBNs. It has made such a difference in my career to know that I have the support of my peers and leaders at McDonald’s.

Becky (She/Her)

Director, Restaurant Experience

This is an amazing brand, and I am proud of how we continue to evolve and stay relevant. As a company, we open our doors to everyone and consider diversity of experiences and perspectives to be one of our greatest strengths. On a more personal note, I’ve always appreciated how McDonald’s develops well-rounded individuals to best support the communities that we live and operate in. I’m honored to be a LGBTQ+ employee at a company that empowers me to be “me” every single day.
